Let’s Go To The Beach

By Kristy L.

Are you looking for a good restaurant that serves high-quality, fresh food? Well, look no further! The Beach Hut is the best place for you to go! They serve Hawaiian food and all kinds of traditional food such as burgers and breakfasts.

Unlike many other restaurants, The Beach Hut makes everything fresh, never frozen, which makes it more healthy, and even better tasting. Their burgers are made with fresh Angus beef, and their meals are all homemade, like their delicious Portuguese sausage and teriyaki. It is located in the Michael’s Plaza and has been open for about a year and a half.

The restaurant is a popular place for kids after school because of its location. It even has an after school special, which is advertised in Money Mailer. They are open Mondays to Saturdays from 7 AM to 8 PM and Sundays from 8AM to 4 PM.

The owner of The Beach Hut is Angie Romero. She decided to own the restaurant because she grew up cooking a lot with her grandma. When her friends were selling the restaurant, she decided to buy it. Personally, her favorite items on the menu are the teriyaki steak and the breakfast egg and sausage sandwich.

The Beach Hut is very family friendly. On one of their walls, they have a cute painting that one of the employees did. Right next to that is a kid’s corner. The corner has little chalkboards and toys set up there for the kids to play.

“Sometimes they take them home!” Romero laughs.

They are always improving and making The Beach Hut an even better place. They are planning to put up a stage in the restaurant so that they can have events such as Ukulele Night, which corresponds with the Hawaiian beach theme.

So make sure to stop by after school sometime, or bring you family there for a delicious, mouth watering meal. The food is amazing! Trust me. I’ve been there three times in three weeks! Five Stars for this incredible delectable restaurant.

Editor’s Note:  I highly recommend The Beach Hut’s Teriyaki Burger and Macaroni Salad.  Yummo!  You may also call in orders for pick up at lunch.
