Word Of The Issue

The word of the issue is plethora.  Plethora, according to the Scott, Foreman Advanced Dictionary, means  1.  excessive fullness; superabundance; excess. 2. an abnormal condition characterized by an excess of blood in the body.

The first definition for the word is used often in essays.  When used correctly, a student is bound to get a plethora of compliments.
