Once upon a time, Mrs. Stephanie Hunnel went to a pumpkin patch and put her name into a drawing to guess how much a pumpkin weighed. A few days later, she received a phone call saying that she won the Great Pumpkin!
It took Hunnel and Mr. Joseph to carry it into the Teacher’s Lounge from Hunnel’s car. It then took Big Bill to lift it to his shoulder and bring it to the Front Office.
Big Bill took a look at the Great Pumpkin and decided that his hat would fit just right.
After little discussion, the Builders Club decided that the pumpkin needed to be carved.
With a lot of help from adults, the Builders Club carved the Great Pumpkin with an RMS. How perfectly appropriate is that?!
If you are interested in visiting another Great Pumpkin this season, Phillips 66 invites you to visit Smilin’ Jack at the Los Angeles Refinery. Jack turns 60 this year and looks as festive as ever.
