RMS hosted the Seventh Grade S.T.E.M. Car Races on Wednesday, January 23rd. Students in S.T.E.M. education from Calle Mayor and Casimir middle schools were invited to compete their CO2 powered cars in races against each other and RMS students. They completed to see who had fabricated the best engineered outcome to a complex science and physics problem. Students worked on these cars for the last five months and it came down to the race in the Cafetorium at Richardson.
Unfortunately, RMS did not take the top places in the races, but they put up a good fight making it to semi-final rounds. No worries, we will get them next time!
Thank you to all the students who participated in this very exciting event with cars they made.
